Designing a new urban area that integrates areas dedicated to culture and residential areas. A
public place for socialising that is a
catalyst for a number of different interests. A new
urban hub, a combination of public and private areas. The Science Museum opposite the MAXXI Museum gives this part of the site a community value whereas the other belongs to the private/residential part. The
dialogue with the context is guaranteed by the presence of two piazzas. One is of an urban nature and the other is more residential. A
pedestrian boulevard runs across the site. The large piazza divides the public and private sphere and is complemented, on one side, by a single high element that serves as a visual and spatial
landmark.
