Interpreting identity with courage.
Optimising space within the new Hilti headquarters in Sesto San Giovanni: 4,000 square meters featuring curved walls and irregular areas. With an extra challenge: developing an architectural and graphic concept to renew the company's image. To meet these needs, Global Planning Architecture transformed the seemingly weak points of the existing structure into strengths.
The structure and morphology of the building were exploited to the full resulting in functional division of the space. The idea was to support and highlight the existing forms rather than try and adapt them to traditional solutions. The change in the corporate image and brand promotion through innovative graphic displays has resulted in a significant formal and representative impact. A perfect example of productive collaboration between a design studio and a client who had the courage to make positive changes.
